Su graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2020 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2021.

From 2021 to 2022, Su trained in and practised corporate law, in particular competition law, at one of the largest law firms in Singapore. During her time there, she assisted with rendering legal advice on cross-border multi-million-dollar transactions in a wide range of industries, including the aviation, real estate, and telecommunications sectors. In this regard, her experience includes assisting clients with merger control assessments and filings to the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore. She also assisted the Environmental, Social and Governance & Public Policy team in conducting research on disclosure and compliance laws across the Asia-Pacific region.

In 2023 and 2024, Su worked as a Criminal Legal Aid Scheme (CLAS) Fellow with Pro Bono SG. She represented accused persons facing a wide range of criminal charges including drug trafficking, sexual offences, and property offences. In her time as a CLAS Fellow, she conducted hearings at both the High Court and State Courts of Singapore. One of the notable cases she handled was when she acted as second chair in a High Court trial of an accused person who was facing an assortment of charges relating to sexual offences.

Some of the matters which Su has been involved in include:

  • Assisted with rendering advice, as Singapore antitrust counsel, on numerous cross-border transactions including in the aviation, real estate, and telecommunications sectors
  • Assisted in obtaining an acquittal for an accused person charged with committing a negligent act under the Workplace Safety and Health Act 2006. This was reported in the local media. View Article at The Straits Times
  • Assisted as second chair in a High Court trial of an accused person who was facing an assortment of charges relating to sexual offences
  • Acted for an offender in an appeal against his sentence at the High Court (Decision by the District Court: PP v Sarder Md Rajaul Islam [2024] SGDC 43)
  • Acted for accused persons in plead guilty hearings at the High Court and State Courts of Singapore
