Jaime graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and is admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. She sits on the Law Society of Singapore’s Publications Committee and the Sports Committee.
Having grown up as a competitive athlete, Jaime brings to the table the same level of commitment, competitiveness and preparation in helping clients find effective legal solutions for a wide variety of legal matters.
Jaime’s primary area of practice is in commercial litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution. She has acted and assisted in litigation at all levels of Singapore’s courts.
She has been involved in handling a wide range of contentious matters involving breaches of directors’ duties, shareholder disputes, tenancy disputes, employment disputes, management corporation disputes, insolvency, contentious probate and trust proceedings.
Jaime’s practice area also includes matrimonial and family law. She has acted for clients in contested and uncontested divorces, which deal with issues such as custody, care and control of children, maintenance and division of matrimonial assets. Jaime has also been involved in acting for and advising clients in deputyship matters.
Apart from the above, Jaime also has experience in non-contentious matters such as corporate advisory work. These include drafting, reviewing and advising on commercial contracts such as shareholders’ agreements, joint-venture agreements and license agreements.

Commercial Litigation Cases
Acting for a co-defendant in a multi-party High Court suit involving allegations of unlawful conspiracy, fraudulent misrepresentation and breaches of fiduciary duties;
Acting for former employee in a wrongful termination suit against an American multinational technology conglomerate;
Acted for plaintiffs in their claims for misrepresentation and breach of shareholders’ agreement in relation to an intended medical marijuana facility in Las Vegas;
Acted for a Romanian company in successfully obtaining a Mareva injunction against a local individual in the High Court;
Acted for owners in defending a High Court claim by the neighbouring owner for property defects arising from reconstruction works;
Acted for various shareholders of a Singapore property development company in respect of a minority oppression claim in the High Court;
Acted for directors and employees of a pharmaceutical company in defence of a High Court claim involving allegations of breach of fiduciary duties, inducement and conspiracy;
Acted for various MCSTs in defence of various claims from subsidiary proprietors involving alleged breaches of the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act;
Acted in defence of a High Court claim, and subsequent appeal in the Court of Appeal, in relation to allegations of fraud, knowing receipt and unjust enrichment involving multiple defendants;
Acted for a Chinese patron in defence of a S$10 million claim by a local casino operator. The default judgment initially obtained by the casino was successfully set aside;
Acted for an Australian casino group in a S$43 million claim against a Singaporean patron;
Acted in defence of a High Court claim in relation to allegations of fraudulent misrepresentation concerning the sale and purchase of various Southeast Asian artworks;
Acted in defence of a High Court claim in relation to the disputed beneficial ownership of a property worth over S$8 million;
Acted for shareholders of a Sarawak timber business conglomerate where a winding-up petition filed against a related Singapore company in the High Court was successfully dismissed;
Acted for liquidators in the winding up of a local realty firm in relation to various claims filed by creditors in the High Court, where the properties in dispute are estimated to be worth at least S$14 million;
Advised US insurer setting up a Singapore branch on insurance terms for professional indemnity and general insurance policies.
Wills, Trusts, Probate & Deputyship
Acted for executor in defence of a claim by beneficiaries for revocation of Grant of Probate and nullification of the Will;
Acted for beneficiaries of an estate valued at S$5 million to compel executors to distribute assets;
Acted for deputies in varying deputyship order to include powers of investment.
Workplace, Safety, Employment and Regulatory Cases
Represented various contractors who were charged as Occupiers under Section 11 of the Workplace Safety and Health Act;
Represented various contractors who were charged as Employers under Section 12 of the Workplace Safety and Health Act;
Represented individuals who were charged under Section 15(3A) of the Workplace Safety and Health Act;
Advising companies facing investigation and stop work orders issued by the Ministry of Manpower Occupational Safety and Health Division;
Represented professional engineers/ contractors for offences under the Building Control Act.
